Stage name A slug identifier (lowercase, hyphenated), e.g. "planning" or "deployed". Unique within the lifecycle, not editable later. Type The stage's role. A lifecycle needs exactly one planning stage (where members are first considered) and one deployed stage (members actively at work). Entry gate The compliance bar a member must clear to enter this stage, evaluated against their latest extraction and the project's matrix. Enforcement Blocking prevents entry when the gate is unmet; advisory allows entry but flags it.
