Yellow fever certificate

Thank you for getting back to us so promptly. As discussed, we will need the complete set of your updated certificates before the vessel's mobilisation window opens, and the owner's vetting team has asked us to cross-check the validity dates against the matrix one more time. Could you confirm that your STCW, medical, and flag-state endorsements all extend beyond the planned contract end date? If any of them fall short, we can arrange the refresher courses through our approved training partner, but the sooner we know, the easier it is to keep your slot on the rotation.

Understood, and thanks for arranging the flights. I'll do the pre-joining medical at the clinic nearest to me from the list and forward the results as soon as they're issued, usually within two working days. On the briefing pack: good to know the previous one was superseded — I'll wait for the corrected version before reviewing the safety and familiarisation sections. Quick question on logistics: should I travel in uniform or in plain clothes, and is there a baggage allowance I should keep within for the work gear?

Following up on the payroll details: the finance team has confirmed they can process the allotment to the account you provided, but they need the IBAN and SWIFT exactly as they appear on your bank statement, plus a confirmation that the account is in your own name. If the account is shared or in a relative's name, there's an additional declaration to sign. Apologies for the extra paperwork — it's a flag-state requirement and not something we can waive, but once it's in place future payments go through without any further checks.

Appreciate you laying out the steps so clearly. I've attached scans of my passport, seaman's book, and the two certificates you asked about; the bank confirmation letter is also there, with the IBAN and SWIFT exactly as on the statement, and the account is in my own name. Please let me know if the scans are legible enough — the lighting wasn't great — and I can re-take them. I'm available for a call any afternoon this week if it's easier to go through the remaining items together rather than over email.

Thank you for the detailed explanation — that clears up most of my questions. I've checked all my certificates and the STCW and medical are both valid well past the contract end date, but my flag-state endorsement expires about three weeks before the proposed sign-off. I'd rather renew it now than risk a problem at the port, so if you can point me to the approved training partner I'll book the refresher this week. I should also mention I have a family commitment in the first week of the month, so an embarkation date after that would be ideal if there's any flexibility.
